I loved Ross Gay's Inciting Joy, The Book of Delights and the book of (more) Delights but I haven't read his poetry yet, I love the sound of the one you shared, I think I'll give it a try

Pls add The Lion Women of Tehran to your TBR. I read it in July, it’s a beautiful story and the book isn’t getting the attention it deserves! You had some great reads in July, enjoy the weekend.

I also read Consent this month! I've loved Jill Ciment's fiction, so I was very eager to jump into her memoir. I thought it was well-written overall, but I wanted more of her own reflection on the subject of the power dynamic in her relationship. I thought it was surprisingly light on her own personal insights.
