I want to try Trello! I’m so disorganized, and I’m a bit embarrassed that I still have a 3 ring binder that I pull out at every school! The twenty something librarian that I work with, is less than impressed.
So happy that you are enjoying your piano! 🎵 Music is a gift!!
I downloaded trello but I’m skeptical as I’m still struggling with my bullet journal. I could definitely use a little more organization in my life. The guest post you wrote for POP was so lovely. I’m happy to see it highlighted here with the rest of your amazing posts. I’m having a tough transition this weekend. It’s like my body forgot how to relax in one week.
Speaking of organizing, I’ve just discovered the free app called Bookshelf. I believe it’s intended for cataloging home libraries. While I don’t have a lot of my own books, I have many many library books on hold, and waiting to go on hold.
I can organize my books by “shelves”, every book just has one shelf (TBR, TB listened to, read in 2024, etc), and I can add “tags”, a seemingly endless number. I can also add “notes” on each book up to 1000 words.
I follow about a dozen Substack writers, including you, of course, and I can tag who recommended what books, so I know whose tastes I share. I also tag if I have a book on hold waiting for me, or if it’s on the library shelf. Then I can search by tags. Loving it.
Thanks for all your recs, most recently Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson - a beautiful book.

She’s just jealous of your cool binder!

I’m happy to offer a Trello tutorial. 🙂 I hear you about relaxing. Transitions are hard sometimes!
I’m in! Also feeling grateful we have tmw off as I woke up more relaxed today.
I’m so excited to read god of the woods!
You have a lot to look forward to! 🙂
I was hesitant about Headshot and The Most, but you have compelled me to add them to my must read list! Good luck with this school year!
Yay! I hope you enjoy them. Good luck to you too!

That app sounds amazing! I’ll definitely check it out. Thanks for sharing. I’m so glad you liked Open Water.
I have a copy of The Most sitting next to my bed. I love a slim novel between other reads.
Yes, me too! Short books always provide a nice sense of accomplishment.
