Here are my favorite things about summer

I sit on my garden bench with a cup of tea multiple times a day and I usually get a daily nap in.

I like the possibility and time I have to organize and clean though I haven’t really done any organizing and cleaning- it’s a reminder for me of how much I just appreciate space and possibility in my life

I’m taking Anna and a friend strawberry picking today. I would invite you (you are invited) but it involves going outside and traipsing through the hot sun. I will think of you when we eat the strawberries. Maybe I’ll write you a poem

For I have eaten the strawberries

Which I was saving for you

They were so ripe, so rich, so juicy

So delicious
