So far gone is excellent. I can’t wait for you to read it. Suleika’s book is definitely the most beautiful, but I purchased a paperback copy of Remarkably Beautiful Creatures to read on this Italy trip, and it just might be the loveliest paperback I’ve ever owned. There are fish and flowers and octopus imprinted on the pages.

I just finished Fox and really did not care for it, either psychologically or literarily.

I’ve heard mixed reviews, so I’m eager to see what I think. I’ve never read Oates before.

Two of your three "need to read before the end of the year" have been on my bookshelf forever, waiting for me to pick them up. I will if you will :)

I’m making my way through SULEIKA’S book this summer and it’s as beautiful inside as it is outside. So happy you have a copy to appreciate.

I loved Janelle Brown's Pretty Things and have an ARC of What Kind of Paradise that I really want to read sooner rather than later. And The Book of Alchemy is one I think I need to own. My mid-year recap is included in my post today if you'd like to check it out.
