What a great list! (As is so often true with your lists, I like the ones I know so much that I immediately want to try the ones I don't.) The audiobook of Particular Taste of Lemons was available at my library, so I know what I'll be listening to as I do kitchen chores this afternoon. 🙂 I will vouch for Adachi's book, which changed my kitchen life in the best way. I think it's particularly suited to those of us with librarian brains. And I swear by checking cookbooks out of the library before committing to buying them. Saving this post for future reference!
I love this list! Ahhh The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake. One of my faves.
I don’t hear people talk about it much, so it’s nice to find someone else who appreciates it.
I shared the first chapter of Bite By Bite with my memoir students on Wednesday, and we loved it. Thanks for recommending it.
That makes me so happy!

Me too! I’ve saved so much money sampling cookbooks before committing.
I’d love to try some of these recipes!
I need a personal chef in my life!😍
Wouldn’t that be so nice?
Loved the show Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat on Netflix. It taught me a lot and so also looking forward to read the book.
I loved the show too!
