I love the idea of horrorish, and recognize it as one of my favorite genres. Looking forward to trying the titles here that I haven't yet. A few I would nominate for this genre: Mexican Gothic (Silvia Moreno-Garcia), Weyward (Emilia Hart), The Crane Husband (Kelly Barnhill). I guess I like books with just a touch of supernatural + horrific humans.

Love this list! I like to think of it as horror adjacent or like horror flavored sparkling water - the essence is there but not full flavored.
