I haven’t read any of the books on your list yet, but I’ve added several to my TBR. I recently read “The Frozen River” which is so vividly atmospheric, taking place over several months in the wintertime. I loved it and although I would’ve loved it even if I read it during the summer, I think it was even more memorable/impactful/poignant because I read it during a wintery weekend. ❄️
